Mannheimer Swartling elects seven new partners

Mannheimer Swartling is pleased to announce the election of Johan Frost Bergman, Anders Bergsten, Anders Ingvarson, Henrik Johansson, Fredrik Ringquist, Hampus Thofte and Felicia Ullerstam as partners, with effect from 1 January 2016.

They work in our offices located in Sweden and abroad, and have demonstrated an impressive engagement in both our clients’ business as well as the firm’s. The newly elected partners

Johan Frost Bergman is a member of Mannheimer Swartling’s Funds and Investments practice group and is based in the firm’s office in Stockholm. His practice includes advising on the establishment of funds, review of funds on behalf of potential investors as well as assisting with investments on behalf of the funds. Johan joined the firm in 2006 and is a member of the Swedish Bar Association. He has BA/Ssc and LL.M. degrees from Stockholm University and an LL.M. degree from Columbia Law School in New York.

Anders Bergsten is a member of Mannheimer Swartling’s Corporate Commercial practice group, and the firm’s industry sector group for IT, Telecommunications and Technology, and is based in the firm’s office in Stockholm. He advises clients on a wide range of national and international commercial matters, focused on the IT and technology area. Anders’ practice consists mainly of advising on complex delivery, outsourcing and procurement projects, together with advising on privacy and personal data matters. Anders joined the firm in 2006 and is a member of the Swedish Bar Association. He has an LL.M. degree from the University of Uppsala and has studied law at the University of Sydney.

Anders Ingvarson is a member of Mannheimer Swartling’s Infrastructure and Construction industry group and also the firm’s Real Estate and Dispute Resolution practice groups. Based in Malmö, Anders works on assignments throughout Sweden as well as on international matters. His practice comprises advising in infrastructure projects, construction and industrial manufacturing projects, and in disputes concerning industry or technical issues. Anders joined the firm in 2004, worked at the firm’s office in New York in 2008, and served for a period as in-house counsel. He is a member of the Swedish Bar Association and has an LL.M. degree from the University of Lund.

Henrik Johansson  is a member of Mannheimer Swartling’s Mergers & Acquisitions practice group and is based in the firm’s office in Stockholm. His practice includes advising on M&A transactions and structuring issues. He works with clients in a wide range of sectors and industries, with a strong focus on private equity. Henrik joined the firm in 2007, worked at the firm’s office in New York in 2014, and is a member of the Swedish Bar Association. He has an LL.M. degree from the University of Uppsala.

Fredrik Ringquist is a member of Mannheimer Swartling’s Dispute Resolution practice group and is based in the firm’s office in Moscow. He previously worked in the firm’s New York and Stockholm offices. He primarily works with international arbitration related to Russia and other parts of the former Soviet Union. His practice also includes advising on international trade issues such as sanctions. Fredrik represents clients in a wide range of industries and sectors. Fredrik joined the firm in 2005 and is a member of the Swedish Bar Association. He has an LL.M. degree from the University of Lund.

Hampus Thofte is a member of Mannheimer Swartling’s Mergers & Acquisitions practice group and is based in the firm’s office in New York. He advises Nordic clients in connection with the sale and purchase of assets and operations in the US, as well as US clients in matters relating to the Nordic market. Hampus also advises Nordic clients on corporate law and transaction-related issues. He joined the firm in 2003 and has been a partner in the New York office since 2013. He is a member of both the New York State Bar Association and The Swedish Bar Association. He has L.L.M. degrees from Stockholm University and Pace Law School and an MBA from the University of Stockholm.

Felicia Ullerstam is a member of Mannheimer Swartling’s Environment Law practice group and is based in the firm’s office in Stockholm. She advises clients a wide range of environmental matters. Felicia works with permit applications and environmental regulatory risk assessments in transactions. Her practice also includes working with public sector clients in major infrastructure projects. Felicia joined the firm in 2006 and is a member of the Swedish Bar Association. She has an LL.M degree from the University of Uppsala and an LL.M. in Environmental Law from University College London.
