Mannheimer Swartling partners win at International Law Office Client Choice Awards 2012
Mannheimer Swartling’s Hans Hammarbäck and Fredrik Svensson were recognised as winners within Insurance & Reinsurance law in Sweden and Capital Markets law in Russia, respectively, at the International Law Office (ILO) Client Choice Awards 2012 held in London on 22 February.
These awards survey senior corporate counsel only and recognise partners around the world that stand apart for the excellent client care they provide and the quality of their service.
Mr Hammarbäck joined Mannheimer Swartling in 1990 and became a partner in 1997. He has a broad background as a practitioner of insurance and reinsurance law. He has litigated and arbitrated numerous insurance disputes, including assisting Swedish and foreign insurance companies and reinsurance companies in both Swedish and European arbitral and mediation proceedings. In addition to his dispute resolution practice, he advises clients on general insurance issues, having particular experience in legal matters relating to insurance agreements.
Fredrik Svensson joined Mannheimer Swartling in 2001 and is a partner in the firm’s Moscow office, where he has been a resident since 2007. Mr Svensson has worked in the firm’s offices in Sweden and was seconded to the European Investment Bank in Luxembourg from 2003 to 2004. Mr Svensson has a broad background as a practitioner of banking and finance and capital markets law in Sweden, the Baltic states and Russia and the rest of the Commonwealth of Independent States. His practice also includes advising clients from the Nordic region on general corporate and transaction related legal issues.
