Mannheimer Swartling partner Peter Linderoth speaks at Swecare’s Sub-Saharan Africa Day
Mannheimer Swartling partner Peter Linderoth was a speaker at the Swecare Foundation’s third Sub-Saharan Africa Day held on 23 September in Stockholm. Topics at this year’s conference focused among others on business opportunities in SSA, the role of private actors in the health care sector and sustainable health care. Peter spoke on “Do’s and Don’ts when entering a new African Market” and shared practical experience and knowledge about what to consider from a legal perspective.
Others speakers and participants at the conference included, among others, Sten Rylander, former ambassador of Sweden to Angola, Tanzania and Zimbabwe; Rwanda’s ambassador to Sweden, H.E. Ms. Venetia Sebudand, as well as representatives from EKN, SEK, SIDA, Impact Invest and Swedfund.
Swecare was founded in 1978 by the Swedish government and the health care industry as a semi-governmental non-profit organisation. Swecare’s network consist of more than 300 Swedish companies and organisations from different parts of the health care sector.
