Mannheimer Swartling partner Erica Wiking Häger new Vice Chair of the Stockholm Chamber of Commerce
The Council of the Stockholm Chamber of Commerce elected Erica Wiking Häger, partner at Mannheimer Swartling, Vice Chairman of the Stockholm Chamber of Commerce at their annual meeting on June 4. She will be serving as a Vice Chair alongside PO Söderberg and Yvonne Berglund. Michael Wolf, President and CEO of Swedbank, was elected Chairman.
The Stockholm Chamber of Commerce, founded in 1902, is the leading organization for companies and entrepreneurs in metropolitan Stockholm, which includes the municipalities of Stockholm and Uppsala. The Chamber’s activities range from the local to the international level and the organization is engaged in anything that can improve the business environment; from the housing market in the region to international free trade. The Stockholm Chamber of Commerce is a popular venue for its 2,000 member companies with their half a million employees. The Chamber also comprises The Arbitration Institute of the Stockholm Chamber of Commerce (SCC) which was founded in 1917 and has today one of the most important and frequently used arbitration institutions worldwide. Furthermore, the Stockholm Chamber of Commerce is also one of the principals in IMM – Institute against Bribery.
Erica Wiking Häger is a partner at Mannheimer Swartling and member of the firm’s board of directors. She is a member of the Swedish Bar Association (2003) and New York State Bar Association (2000) and has received an LL.M. from Harvard Law School and Bachelor of Laws from Uppsala University. Erica Wiking Hager was elected to the Chamber of Commerce’s board of directors in 2012.
