Mannheimer Swartling receives two prestigious international awards

Mannheimer Swartling was named "Law Firm of the Year: Sweden" for the eighth time at a ceremony held in connection with the International Financial Law Review (IFLR ) Europe Awards 2016 on April 21 in London. The following day, April 22 , the firm was for the fifth time appointed "Best Swedish Firm of the Year" at a ceremony in connection with the Chambers Europe Awards for Excellence in London.

The IFLR Awards are based on legal innovation – international deals that break new legal ground and set market precedents. IFLR’s study in Sweden includes the following areas: Banking and Finance, Capital Markets, Energy and Infrastructure, M&A, Restructuring and Insolvency. Rankings are based on four criteria: innovation, complexity, cross-border capability and quality of client service. Interviews are conducted with leading financial and corporate lawyers and their clients. Mannheimer Swartling now has received this distinction eight times – 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2010, 2012, 2015 and 2016.

Chambers Europe Awards reflects the law firm’s pre-eminence in key practice areas and notable achievements over the past 12 months, including outstanding work, impressive strategic growth and excellence in client service. Mannheimer Swartling now has received this distinction five times – in 2009, 2011, 2012, 2015 and 2016.
