Mannheimer Swartling active in rights issues by Trelleborg, SAS, Nordea and SEB
Mannheimer Swartling has been advising on rights issues this year totaling more than SEK 50 billion. The firm has represented issuers and investors from both the public and private sector.
The firm is advising Trelleborg AB, the global engineering group, in connection with a SEK 2.2 billion rights issue announced on 23 March. The rights issue is fully guaranteed by Trelleborg’s largest shareholders and other parties. Ragnar Lindqvist and Hans Petersson lead the team at Mannheimer Swartling and have been primarily assisted by Nils Nostell, Per Gruwberger, Ola Larsson and Hans Abrahamsson.
The firm is advising SAS on a SEK 6 billion rights issue announced in connection with SAS’s renewed strategic approach for the company, “Core SAS”. The partners responsible at Mannheimer Swartling are Anders Lindblad and Klaes Edhall, assisted primarily by Nina Svensson, Nils Nostell and Jenny Svensson.
The firm advised the Swedish government on its participation in Nordea's EUR 2.5 billion (approximately SEK 28 billion) rights issue. Eva Hägg, Patrik Marcelius and Thomas Pettersson were the responsible partners at Mannheimer Swartling, assisted primarily by Svante Liljedahl and Jenny Keisu.
Mannheimer Swartling advised Investor and Trygg-Stiftelsen on each company’s respective participation in SEB's SEK 15 billion rights issue. Eva Hägg and Patrik Marcelius were the responsible partners for Investor’s participation and Helena Rempler and Sven Unger were the partners responsible for advising Trygg-Stiftelsen.
