Langley Group acquires sheet fed division from manroland AG
The British engineering group Langley Holdings plc has acquired the sheet fed printing division of bankrupt manroland AG. The acquisition of the division includes production facilities, real estate, and an international marketing organisation operating through more than 50 subsidiaries in over 40 countries.
manroland AG, a global leader in the development, manufacturing and maintenance of offset printing machines, has been subject to one of the largest bankruptcy proceedings in recent German corporate history.
Langley Holdings is a diverse privately owned UK based engineering group, specialising in capital equipment technologies. The group has a network of over 30 subsidiaries in 17 countries and currently employs around 2,500 people worldwide.
