KF enters five-year outsourcing agreement with HP

KF – The Swedish Cooperative Union – has entered into an outsourcing agreement with the HP Group. The five-year agreement entails the consolidation and operation of all data centres within the KF Group and is expected to substantially reduce KF’s IT cost and power consumption over the term of the agreement.

KF is a federation of 47 consumer cooperative societies in Sweden, with over 3 million individual members, and a grocery retail trade constituting its core business. This co-operation with HP reflects KF’s strategic decision to outsource its IT operations to reduce costs and focus on improving customer service.

KF was advised by Mannheimer Swartling. Martin Pekkari handled the matter, primarily assisted by Michaela Nilsson and Jonas Andersson.
