Hexagon acquires Q-DAS Group

Hexagon AB, through various subsidiaries within its Metrology division, has agreed to acquire Q-DAS Group, an international software company in Statistical Process Control (SPC) solutions for industrial manufacturing.

Based in Germany, Q-DAS has offices and partner distribution companies around the world. Furthermore, the IP and IT was acquired by way of an asset deal. Completion of the transaction is subject to customary regulatory approvals.

Hexagon is a leading global provider of information technologies for geospatial and industrial enterprise applications. The Hexagon Metrology division offers a comprehensive range of products and services for all industrial metrology applications in sectors such as automotive, aerospace, energy and medical. Hexagon (Nasdaq Stockholm: HEXA B) has more than 15,000 employees in 46 countries and net sales of approximately EUR 2.6 billion.
