Hexagon acquires engineering and geospatial software provider Intergraph

Hexagon AB has agreed to acquire Intergraph, a global provider of enterprise engineering and geospatial software for approximately USD 2.1 billion (enterprise value).

The acquisition is fully financed and will further strengthen Hexagon’s position as a world leading measurement technology group. Additionally, commitments have been secured to refinance Hexagon's existing EUR 1 billion revolving credit facility. Upon completion of the acquisition of Intergraph, Hexagon will pursue a rights issue corresponding to approximately USD 850 million.

Hexagon has been advised by Mannheimer Swartling on financing and EU competition law matters related to the acquisition. The firm’s team was led by Zoran Stambolovski, assisted by Karolina Ericsson, Hans Abrahamsson and Susanne Forsberg. Hans Petersson and Åsa Hansdotter are advising on matters relating to the rights issue and Johan Carle is responsible for EU competition law matters, assisted by Meike Johnsen and Jürgen Busch.
