Hexagon acquires Aibotix
Measurement technology group Hexagon has acquired Aibotix, a manufacturer of intelligent multicopter systems for high-efficiency aerial applications.
Headquartered in Kassel, Germany, Aibotix is the maker of vertical takeoff and landing unmanned aerial vehicles designed for use in industrial inspection, aerial mapping, surveying, and the utility and security markets.
Hexagon is a leading global provider of design, measurement and visualisation technologies. Hexagon has more than 14,000 employees in over 40 countries and net sales of about EUR 2.4 billion. The company’s share is listed on NASDAQ OMX Stockholm.
