Gjensidige acquires motor and home insurance from Solid Försäkringar
Gjensidige Forsikring ASA has agreed to acquire Solid Försäkringar’s motor and home insurance business in Sweden. The business, based in Helsingborg, will be part of the Swedish operations in Gjensidige’s Nordic division.
Gjensidige is a leading Nordic general insurance company. The Group has around 3,100 employees and offers general insurance in Norway, Denmark, Sweden and the Baltics as well as banking, pension and savings services in Norway. Group operating revenues amounted to NOK 19.5 billion in 2012, with assets under management of NOK 94.2 billion. The Group has been listed on Oslo Børs since 2010.
