Ford sells Volvo to Geely
Mannheimer Swartling has advised the Ford Motor Company on the sale of Volvo and its assets to Zhejiang Geely Holding Group for USD 1.8 billion.
The deal marks the largest acquisition of an overseas carmaker yet by a Chinese company and is expected to close in the third quarter of this year, pending regulatory approvals.
