EMS-CHEMIE divests EFTEC Aftermarket

EMS-CHEMIE Holding AG (Switzerland) divests German subsidiary EFTEC Aftermarket to Facilitas Bergeyk B.V., a privately-owned Dutch company. The business unit EMS-EFTEC, the worldwide leading manufacturer of bonding, coating, sealing and damping materials for the automotive industry, is divesting its aftermarket business to focus on the OEM segment of the automotive industry. In connection with the transaction, EMS-EFTEC and Facilitas Bergeyk concluded a long-term supply agreement regarding certain materials.

EMS-CHEMIE Holding AG was advised by Mannheimer Swartling. The firm’s team was led by Oliver Cleblad, primarily assisted by Nelli Schiebeler and Marc Torsten Hausmann.
