DFDS acquires Karlshamn Express
DFDS has acquired 100% of the share capital of the Swedish logistics company Karlshamn Express and its subsidiaries as well as the remaining 50% of the share capital of the associated company Karlshamn Express Baltic SIA.
DFDS is quoted on NASDAQ OMX Nordic Exchange Copenhagen, and conducts business within the area of shipping and logistics services. With a revenue of SEK 225 million in 2012 and around 100 employees, Karlshamn Express is active within the field of road transport between Sweden and the Baltics as well as Russia and surrounding countries. In addition, the company provides domestic road transport and warehousing services.
DFDS was advised by Mannheimer Swartling in the transaction. The firm's team was led by partner Johan Ljungberg, assisted by associates Pontus Danielson and Bita Pourmotamed (joint project leaders).
