Com Hem acquires Canal Digital Kabel-TV
Com Hem has acquired Canal Digital Kabel-TV AB, a Swedish provider of cable television and IPTV services to approximately 220,000 households, from Canal Digital Sverige AB, a subsidiary of Telenor.
Com Hem, the largest cable television operator in Sweden, provides analog and digital television, broadband Internet and telephony services to landlords and residential customers. Com Hem has about 700 employees with offices in Stockholm (HQ), Gothenburg, Malmö and Härnösand. Com Hem was founded in 1983 and is owned by the Carlyle Group and Providence Equity Partners since 2006.
