Capio lists on Nasdaq Stockholm
Capio AB (publ) has been admitted to trading on Nasdaq Stockholm on 30 June 2015.
The offering price was SEK 48.50 per share, corresponding to a market value of all shares issued by Capio of approximately SEK 6.8 billion.
The offering, which consisted of an offering to the public in Sweden and an international offering to institutional investors, comprised both existing shares sold by Ygeia Equity, Capio’s principal shareholder owned by funds controlled by Apax and Nordic Capital, and SEK 750 million of new shares issued by Capio. The total value of the offering, excluding an over-allotment option of up to 10 per cent, amounts to approximately SEK 2.3 billion and corresponds to 34 per cent of the total number of shares in Capio.
Capio is a leading, pan-European healthcare provider offering a broad range of high quality medical, surgical and psychiatric healthcare services through its hospitals, specialist clinics and primary care units in Sweden, Norway, France and Germany.
Capio and Ygeia Equity were advised by Mannheimer Swartling in the offering and in a refinancing of Capio in connection with the listing. The firm’s team was led by Hans Petersson and Emil Boström, primarily assisted by Nils Nostell, Emma Sandberg Thomsen, Gustaf Hygrell, Therese Lundgren, Anna Salmén, Jessica Lindgren and Jenny Karlsson. Zoran Stambolovski advised Capio on the refinancing, primarily assisted by Carl Johan Jennekvist and Caroline Nilsson.
