Capio acquires Carema Sjukvård from Ambea
Capio has acquired Carema Sjukvård from Ambea.
Carema Sjukvård operates primary care centres and specialist clinics in Sweden with approximately 35 care centers, 325,000 listed patients, 1,400 employees and estimated revenues in 2012 of SEK 1.7 billion.
Capio is a leading European healthcare provider within the public and private sector and offers a diverse range of care through hospitals, primary care and specialist clinics in Sweden, Norway, France, Germany and the UK. Capio has about 60 operating units with some 10,000 employees and treats over 3 million patients every year. Capio Group’s annual sales amounts to approximately SEK 10 billion.
