Capgemini acquires Skvader Systems

Capgemini has acquired Swedish IT and Business Process Outsourcing service provider Skvader Systems from its current management and founders. Skvader Systems specializes in the provision of smart meter deployment services and smart meter managed business services and will become part of Capgemini’s Smart Energy Services Business.

Capgemini is one of the world’s foremost providers of consulting, technology and outsourcing services with approximately 90 000 employees and a turnover of more than EUR 8.4 billion worldwide.

Capgemini was advised by Mannheimer Swartling. The firm’s team handling the transaction was led by Madeleine Rydberger and Lucas Jonsson, with assistance mainly from Tobias Bergström and Annika Estreen. Stefan Widmark, assisted by Hanna Walukiewicz, handled intellectual property and IT-related matters.
