Bong Ljungdahl merges with Hamelin’s envelope division
Bong Ljungdahl AB (publ) is acquiring Hamelin’s envelope division in a transaction that includes a cash portion, an issue of new shares and convertible bonds to Hamelin, as well as a vendor loan. Following the completion of the transaction, Hamelin will own shares corresponding to 24,9 % of the share capital in Bong Ljungdahl.
Bong Ljungdahl, a leading European provider of specialised packaging and envelope products, has a turnover of approximately SEK 2 billion and about 1,200 employees in 12 countries. The company’s share is listed on NASDAQ OMX Stockholm. Hamelin’s envelope division, with a turnover of approximately EUR 170 million and about 1,200 employees, is part of the French Hamelin Group, the leading European stationery manufacturer with a turnover of EUR 700 million and 4,000 employees.
