Aspelin-Ramm acquires Pedagogen in Mölndal

The Swedish real estate and property development company Aspelin-Ramm Fastigheter AB has acquired Pedagogen in Mölndal from Akademiska hus. Until 2006, this was the site of the Teacher Education Programme at the University of Gothenburg. The acquisition includes a 36,200 square metre building and 82,000 square metres of land. Closing is expected to take place on 1 December 2010.

Aspelin-Ramm has developed several shopping malls in Sweden, among these 421 in Gothenburg, Amhult in Torslanda, as well as the acclaimed housing project “Studio 57” at Norra Älvstranden in Gothenburg. The latter is the first project in Gothenburg to make use of three-dimensional land parcelling by constructing new residences on top of an existing building.

Aspelin-Ramm was advised by Mannheimer Swartling on the transaction, with Clas Nyberg handling the assignment.
