Mannheimer Swartling annual report 2016

Despite the political turmoil and an increasingly widespread uncertainty about the economic situation, Mannheimer Swartling can look back on yet another successful year. We are still ranked number one in Sweden – both by clients in international ratings by Chambers and International Financial Law Review (IFLR) and by future lawyers in Universum’s annual Företagsbarometer (Business Barometer). To us, this is clear evidence that, as a law firm, we are doing things right. This does not mean that we can rest on our laurels safe in the knowledge that the sun will rise tomorrow with Mannheimer Swartling remaining the leading business law firm in the Nordic region.

2016 was also a year that was characterised by change. This will continue to be the case in 2017. The firm’s long-term efforts in relation to equality, diversity, skills development and digital solutions will continue next year as well. In 2016, 53 lawyers started working at Mannheimer Swartling and two new partners were elected. In terms of turnover, we exceeded expectations with a turnover of SEK 1.3 billion. The reason why we have succeeded in achieving our ambition is that we have Sweden’s best and most dedicated lawyers. Mannheimer Swartling’s strong position is the result of our 550-strong team of employees who cooperate, solve problems together and exchange knowledge freely.

We invite you to read more about the firm’s activities during the past year in our annual report for 2016.
