AMF acquires fifty percent of the residential company Dombron
AMF Pensionsförsäkring AB has reached an agreement with the Fourth Swedish National Pension Fund to acquire fifty percent of the shares in Dombron Intressenter AB and thereby indirectly a real estate portfolio with a total underlying property value of SEK 6 billion. The portfolio of approximately 80 properties consists of residential and student properties primarily located in Gothenburg, Stockholm and Uppsala.
AMF Pensionsförsäkring AB is one of the largest life insurance companies in Sweden. The company’s subsidiary AMF Fastigheter AB owns office and retail properties located primarily in Stockholm and Gothenburg with a total market value of approximately SEK 24.6 billion.
AMF was advised by Mannheimer Swartling on the transaction. Klas Wennström handled the matter, primarily assisted by Niklas Svantesson, Mikael Laag, Jenny Elofsson och Johan Frost Bergman.
