Allianz Capital Partners invests in Sörby wind park
Allianz Capital Partners has acquired the Sörby wind park in the municipalities of Ljusdal and Bollnäs from Kraftö. The wind park will comprise 37 Vestas V117-3.3 MW turbines with a total capacity of 122 MW. It will be one of Sweden’s largest on-shore wind parks when construction has been completed in autumn 2016.
Allianz Capital Partners has invested two billion euros in renewable energy. Allianz Capital Partners now have 49 wind and 7 solar parks in their portfolio which, with a combined generation capacity of more than 1,200 MW, makes them one of the world’s largest financial investors in renewable energy. Sörby wind park is Allianz’s third Swedish wind power investment.
