Alfa Laval establishes EMTN programme and issues EUR 800 million of corporate bonds
Alfa Laval has established a Euro Medium Term Note (EMTN) programme and raised EUR 800 million in the corporate bond market. This long-term financing replaces the bridge loan taken in connection with the acquisition of Frank Mohn AS. The bonds will be listed on the Irish stock exchange.
Alfa Laval is a world leader in heat transfer, centrifugal separation and fluid handling. The company posted annual sales of about SEK 29.8 billion (approx. EUR 3.5 billion) in 2013 and has about 17,500 employees after completion of the acquisition of Frank Mohn AS in May 2014. Alfa Laval is listed on NASDAQ OMX Stockholm.
Alfa Laval was advised by Mannheimer Swartling in the matter. The firm’s team was led by Zoran Stambolovski, primarily assisted by Oscar Magnusson and Philip Herrström.
