Accent Equity invests and merges Hissgruppen and ITK
The investment fund Accent Equity 2012 has acquired majority positions in two independent elevator companies, Hissgruppen AB and I.T.K. Intern Transport Kommunikation AB, and will merge them into one group. The founders of Hissgruppen and ITK will co-invest and be active in the new group. The new group is set on creating a new strong player in the elevator market and growing both through acquisitions and expansion into new markets.
Both Hissgruppen and ITK install, modernize and provide service for elevators within the Stockholm region with a focus on tailored solutions for each customer. The new group has approximately 100 employees and an aggregate turnover of approximately SEK 250 million. Accent Equity 2012 is a SEK 3.8 billion investment fund focusing on lower mid-market transactions in the Nordic region.
