Annual Report 2014

Mannheimer Swartling has been the leading business law firm in the Nordic region for many years. This position was confirmed in 2014, as we were engaged in some of the year’s largest and most complex transactions and disputes, across a wide range of industries.

For us, being a leader means always providing quality and always surpassing client expectations. It also means that we should be at the forefront, developing the market.

Our ambition is to develop long-term client relationships and we are pleased that many of our clients remain with us for many years – in fact, we have had the privilege of serving a number of them for several decades. We know that they count on us to be there for them – in prosperity and austerity, in good times and bad.

This year marks the 25th anniversary of Mannheimer Swartling in its present form. The firm was established by the merger of the law firms Mannheimer & Zetterlöf and Carl Swartling Advokatbyrå on 1 July 1990. The former was founded in 1943 and the latter has a history dating back to 1877. The merger was successful because of a shared objective: an ambition to deliver the highest quality. This unwavering focus on quality has defined Mannheimer Swartling ever since I joined the firm nearly 20 years ago and it continues to inspire and motivate us.

The year provided proof that we are following the right strategy. And we won’t rest here. Our goal is to always deliver the best possible advice, regardless of circumstances, timing or industry.

I invite you to read more about the firm’s activities and accomplishments in our Annual Report for 2014.
