DCC Energy has agreed to acquire the Swedish company Swea Energi Holding AB from Viviann and Lennart Hansson for an initial purchase price of SEK 205 million. Completion of the acquisition is conditional on competition approval from the European Commission.
DCC Energy is a division within DCC plc, listed on the Irish and London stock exchanges. Swea Energi is a leading distributor of heating oils and transport fuels to domestic, commercial and industrial customers in Sweden. The company sells approximately 500 million litres of oil per annum to customers throughout Sweden.
