One of the key success factors of the firm is the expertise of our lawyers. That is why we invest heavily in training. Our training programme, the Professional Development Programme, runs for a total of six years. The practical legal training, given during the first two years, provides the newly employed lawyer with a broad foundation in business law and training in a number of other subjects which business lawyers encounter on a daily basis. This includes courses in professional ethics, business administration, risk management and legal English. During the latter part of the programme, training is provided in practical business skills, project management, and negotiation and presentation techniques.
In addition to the firm’s general training programme, advanced and specialist training is provided in each practice group. A number of practice groups have Professional Development Lawyers. They work with the group's competence development and identification, collection, development and dissemination of all the knowledge created in the group.
