Mannheimer Swartling is the leading law firm in dispute resolution in the Nordic region and is top tier globally. We represent clients, regardless of nationality or applicable law, in any and all matters arising from commercial disputes, such as early dispute assessment, arbitration, litigation, mediation and other alternative dispute resolution. Our experience from arbitrations under the Arbitration Rules of the Arbitration Institute of the Stockholm Chamber of Commerce (SCC) is unprecedented, but we also have extensive experience from arbitrations under various other rules and institutions such as the ICC, LCIA, ICDR, DIS, HKIAC, CIETAC, ICAC, UNCITRAL and ICSID. The group consists of about 70 lawyers and is represented in all of our offices in Sweden as well as in our offices in China, Russia and Germany.

Our Dispute Resolution Practice Group has extensive experience of commercial disputes within all industries and fields of business, such as e.g. Automotive, Energy, Financial Institutions, Healthcare and Life Science, Infrastructure and Construction, IT, Telecommunication and Technology, Media and Entertainment, Private Equity, M&A, Real Estate and Shipping and Transportation.

In disputes where expertise in foreign law or other specialist knowledge is required our lawyers work closely with members of the firm’s other practice groups or with external lawyers or other consultants. Mannheimer Swartling has well-established relations with other law firms and experts globally and is able to compose and lead integrated teams adapted for the particular matter at hand.

Most members in the group deal with both arbitration and litigation.

A sub group within the Dispute Resolution Practice Group is dedicated to International investment disputes.
