Administrative Support

Mannheimer Swartling has a professional support organisation which provides the best possible service to the firm’s employees and clients.

Assistants
Experienced assistants play a prominent role in the firm’s client work.
They work closely with a number of lawyers and assist with all the administration surrounding client matters. In some of the offices, we also have office assistants who facilitate the work of assistants.

Office service
It is of fundamental importance for Mannheimer Swartling to maintain a high level of service in all aspects of the firm’s activities ranging from its clients to its employees. Accordingly, office services constitutes an important part of the firm and includes the following functions: reception, conference, janitors, archive and evening and weekend support. Susanne Bergman is the head of the office service in Stockholm, Madeleine Nyrén in Gothenburg and Bodil Schönbeck in Malmö/Helsingborg.

IT
In order to increase the firm’s business efficiency, Mannheimer Swartling invests considerable resources in information technology and IT support. The firm’s IT department, in co-operation with the firm’s IT council, is responsible for and develops the firm’s IT infrastructure. The department is also responsible for the firm’s IT security, telephones, video conferences and other systems. Eva Palm is the head of the IT department.

Accounts department
The firm’s accounts department, which is represented at all the firm’s offices, works strategically and operationally with budgeting, financial planning and accounting issues. In addition, the accounts department in Stockholm is responsible for the firm’s finances, accounting and reporting. Anne Martinsson is the head of the accounts department.

Human Resources (HR)
The firm’s continuing success presupposes major commitment to personnel matters in order to maintain our attractiveness as an employer. Here, the HR department plays a vital role. The HR department’s employees are represented at all the firm’s offices in Sweden, and also actively support the firm’s offices abroad. In close co-operation with partners/associates, practice groups, industry sector groups and the other support functions, the department actively works with strategic as well as forward looking development initiatives such as HR issues of a more operational character.

The Lawyers Committee, which consists of a number of partners, associates and representatives from the HR department, is responsible for recruiting lawyers and career development. Johan Lekholm is the chairman of the Lawyers Committee.
Karin Mendel is head of the HR department.

Communications
In order to maintain and develop Mannheimer Swartling’s strong and well-known trade mark, our communications department in Stockholm is responsible for the firm's market communication. The department also works actively with internal communication matters and internal information. Marc Klaus is head of the Communications department. Hanna Laurentz is the marketing and press officer.
